Fics like the things we don't talk about.

When Agent Williams talks about Agent Johnson's "hot boyfriend", May can't keep ignoring their conversation. And it's not that May thinks there is anything wrong with Daisy having a boyfriend. It's the not telling her part that bothers her. It's not completely weird, considering they are not ones for girl talks, at all. But there is a part of her that thinks she and Daisy have been drifting apart since Coulson's funeral, like Coulson was the one bringing them together, giving them a reason to get along and now with him, their friendship had died too. The months Daisy and Jemma spent in space backs up her insecurities. After Bahrain, one of the things she was certain about was that she was not fit to be a mother, to raise a child. Daisy must have sensed that somehow, she thinks, considering she never saw her the way she saw Coulson. Or a post s5 May&Daisy mother daughter angst
