Fics like Achilles Come Down

“I’m done with this conversation.” Shane’s exasperated now. He stands up, his legs shaky after sitting so long, and heads to the patio door. Ilya is not far behind. “No. We are just now talking. Don’t run.” Ilya tries not to yell, but it comes out louder than he intended it to, bouncing off the trees. “That’s all I know!” Shane spins around, blanket still wrapped around his waist. “All I know is to run. There’s fight, flight, freeze. I choose flight. I can’t fight because then I’ll be the Asian guy with an attitude problem. Oh, now the Asian gay guy with an attitude problem. Hell the internet apparently insists I’m autistic, and fuck I might be? So let’s throw that in too! The Asian gay autistic guy with an attitude problem. So better to run then! There isn’t a day I’m not running from something.
