Fics like Growing up's a Waste of Time

In a world where humans are living longer than ever, society can't cope. It's globally decided that anyone under 30 will become a minor again. Their adulthood stripped from them. Their guardianship handed over to their parents or any eligible next of kin. As a kind of grace period, there is a short span of time between the announcement of the law and the enforcement of it where anyone 18-30, who does not want to return to their parents' custody, can instead voluntarily sign away custody of themselves to a person of their choosing, as long as they are over 30. Ilya Rozanov, who is only 22 and has just become captain of the Boston Raiders, is suddenly found with nowhere good to go. He's about to be deported back to Russia unless he can find someone he trusts, who is over 30, and might just like him enough to sign the Blue Form and at least keep him out of his father's control Scott Hunter, who is 36 and only just came out as gay the year before by kissing Kip Grady on the ice, was not planning on becoming a parent. He definitely wasn't planning on becoming a parent to the player who has been the biggest pain in his ass for the past 4 years. Eventual Hollanov. Shane does not appear in first few chapters
