Fics like an exit wound

Answer the following questions by choosing what applies to you: 1. When was the last time you told the truth? (a) you’re a lighthouse, you’re in search of one. You’re the harbour, you eat yourself up. (b) your own grave must be your own to dig. At least that way you will know where it is. (c) because it’s the story of your life, you told it. Because you told it, it changed. Being alive, he postulates, is an herculean task. Life expects too much of him, death has the capacity for kindness. And ever so often would he catch himself thinking about being back in the coffin. Not alive. Not burdened. Not attached. Perhaps just doing what he was meant to be doing all along, all this time. Rotting away in his grave. He does wonder how different things would be for everyone else and there’s bitterness spreading from the sides of his tongue, it wouldn’t. He is still out of the picture, he is still forgotten.
