Fics like I Love It and I Hate It at the Same Time

Shadow Milk hadn't expected seeing Silent Salt to stir up memories from before the Silver Tree- especially not ones he spent years burying. He got back to the Vanilla Kingdom and was fine. Nothing was different, until his unconscious brain decided to torture him. He was back; all the old faces he just wanted to forget were back. The one stupid face he wanted to forget more than anyone else's was back. And it didn't just stop at one night, oh no no no, why would The Witches be so kind? He saw different scenes every night until he saw the one thing he spent centuries mourning over, trying to forget and eventually forgetting. Until Pure Vanilla Cookie unknowingly walked into his Spire. OOOOOOOOOR Shadow Milk starts having nightmares after coming back from the Faerie Kingdom of things he spent years forgetting.
