Fics like WHAT WE BECAME INSTEAD II | Drarry | OOTP AU

BOOK 2 of an Alternate Universe version of the Order of the Phoenix. NOTE - FEMHarry! and TopDraco! The summer after her 4th year was supposed to be simple. Survive the Dursleys. Easy, right? Instead, Holly Potter gets expelled from Hogwarts because a pink toad sent dementors after her. Bound to the Dark Lord through an mental bond and an Unbreakable Vow, Holly is forced into the last alliance anyone would ever believe. Voldemort is infuriatingly formal, brutally honest, and entirely convinced that Albus Dumbledore is the greatest manipulator Britain has ever produced. As buried memories resurface, ancient magical compulsions unravel, and long-hidden secrets come to light, Holly begins questioning everyone she once trusted. With sarcastic telepathic commentary from an increasingly exasperated Dark Lord, aristocratic Malfoy matchmaking and Black family theatrics, Holly must figure out her fifth year. After all, the most dangerous secret in the wizarding world may not be that Voldemort has returned. It may be that he isn't the greatest villain in the story. He's actually very polite, Holly thinks.
