Fics like keeps things simple

“When you said we had a problem I thought it would be serious.” “This is serious!” Jesper says incredulously. “In what way?” “Twenty cats showing up at our front door isn’t serious to you?” The twenty cats in question stare up at them. Wylan and Jesper stare back. The cat they’d named Inej sits proudly at the front of the group. She meows at them. Every other cat meows in response, turning their front porch into a chorus of caroling felines. Wylan huffs. “Okay, yeah, this is a serious problem.” or: how wylan and jesper accidentally adopt a bunch of cats and why they're all named inej (AKA: a darker shore spoilers)
