Fics like N# 1 safety tip: Don't confess to your crush in the middle of the woods at night

A freakish monster bites Dylans hand when he takes Ryan outside to confess about his small summer crush at the 'halfway through camp' movie night. Luckily the Hacketts make sure that Dylan wont turn into one of them by removing the limb. orrrrrr Ryan trying to deal with Dylan losing a hand and he is very unprepared and he is very scared. He peels an eye open as he takes his hands off of his ears. His head spins, the world infront of him jolts and turns. Dylan is sat on the ground, leant back against the giant man and clutching his bloodied hand to his chest. His face is twisted and contorted in pain, his mouth moving around words that Ryan can’t hear. On the log, sits his hand, detached from the rest of his body. All his breath leaves him in one sharp exhale, the world spins once again as he stares at the limb. It doesn’t feel real, it feels like he’s watching it through a screen, or a vivid hallucination. It just can’t possibly be real. But it is.
