Fics like Phoenix Wright - From Wikipedia, the free encyclopedia

Phoenix "Nick" Wright is a former criminal defense attorney who practiced in the Los Angeles area from 2016-2019. He specialized in "underdog murder cases"[1] and was known as the "Turnabout Terror"[2][3][4][5] for his ability to completely reverse the course of a trial with very little evidence other than a belief in his client. Wright's clients included Larry Butz (better known as Laurice Deauxnim),[6] Maya Fey,[7] current LA Chief Prosecutor Miles Edgeworth,[8] magicians Zak Gramarye[18] and Max Galactica,[15] and actors Will Powers[10] and Matt Engarde.[13] While active, he had a 13:1 win/loss record, which was notably much higher than other defense attorneys at the time.[20] Wright was disbarred by the Japanafornia Bar Association on April 22nd, 2019, following the events of State v. Enigmar, where Wright presented forged evidence to the court.[27] Following the disbarment, Wright retreated from the public eye, and has only been seen in court once since then, as the defendant. He did not contest the Bar Association's judgement.
