Fics like For Better, For Worse

Alyssa doesn't mind being second in everything: birth order, beauty, her father's favour. There are advantages to the shadow she's been living in. But when even Rhaenyra, fierce, charming, witty, is eclipsed by their baby brother, where does that leave the other princess? To escape a court that has grown less and less hospitable for Targaryen princesses, Alyssa needs to find a husband, preferably one who stays out of court politics and can offer her the quiet life she seeks. But fate and her father bow to Lord Otto, so Alyssa soon finds herself betrothed to Ser Ormund Hightower, who has no taste for dragons and less taste for her. Their sympathies do not signify, however: A promise made before the gods is binding and their fates are intertwined for better, for worse.
