Fics like Where the Wild Roses Grow

Princess Red of Wonderland has been invited to attend Auradon Prep in accordance with the new headmistress Uma's declaration. Having lived in the tyrannically ruled Wonderland all her life, Red is stuck between feeling a duty to save the people of her kingdom, and staying in the safety of kingdoms far, far away. When her mother pays a visit, having been snubbed an invitation to Family Day, she stages a coup, sentencing death after death as she gains control of this new land. While fighting against her, a time portal opens up, swallowing the two nearest it. Red and her frenemy Chloe, daughter of Cinderella and Prince Christopher, have only three days to find out how in the decades past the Red Queen of Wonderland, became the blood thirsty Queen of Hearts and attempt to stop the event so Red can life without fear and pain. So her home can be a home. ---------- A fix it fic that follows along every major event of the original movie, i just have a love/hate relationship with it. It was a project that could've been so much better than it was. Time travel back to our equivalent of the early 90s. Each character has had an in depth redesign and some personality changes to better fit the context they live in.
