“Does Grace have soulmate, question? Grace said he had no mate.” Grace lets out a small—albeit a little sad—chuckle. “I’m pretty sure I don’t have one.” “What?!” Rocky screeches. Grace flinches back a bit from the noise. At least Rocky has the gall to look a little sympathetic after his outburst. “Apology apology apology, just confused.” Grace nods in agreement. “I’m not too sure about it either, buddy, but people used to look down on me for it– no, not down,” he thinks, trying his best to pull at any other memories soulmate related of his that are willing to come to the surface of his mind, “They looked at me with pity,” He trails off. “No no no. Not right. Grace have soulmate, surely.” Grace laughs and shakes his head. “At this point, I hope I don’t have one. Imagine having the other half of you shot up into space before you could even meet them. I wouldn’t want to do that to them.” “But Grace go home now, Grace find mate!” -- Or: You find your soulmate the first time you come in physical contact with each other. In all his life, Ryland Grace has never met his soulmate. He probably never will.
