Fics like Promises of travel

Injured in the fight against the Red Bandits, Mendoza gets acquainted with the monk who saved them and offers him to join them on their quest. The starting point of an AU where Tian Li joins the crew instead of being virtually useless and following them always 3 steps behind, because he might not have had a lot of screen time but I love him and what we saw of him with Mendoza nonetheless, and I wish there had been more.
