Fics like perfect places

“...and this was from Sydney. Oh, and this one was when we were in the Gold Coast.” Chaeryeong lets her eyes skim through the album full of the same deep warm blue colours, coastlines drawn like chalk against a backboard, smooth and jagged and in-between. Evidence of Haewon’s globetrotting during her world tour, vlogs and wide-shot selfies and whatnot. “So,” Chaeryeong observes, “you like Australia.” Haewon furrows her eyebrows at the supposition, finally looking up from her phone. Chaeryeong lets her eyes linger over the ‘No Service’ tag before the girl clicks it shut. “I think this means I like the ocean,” she corrects. Chaeryeong runs into Haewon in a rural town in Japan while travelling on her own.
