Fics like Something About You

“Walk me through what you’re thinking.” Dr. Langdon’s voice came from behind her. Before she had the chance to turn, he stepped closer, leaning over her shoulder to look down at the screen. It happened so fast. The warmth of him at her back. The clean scent of soap mixed with coffee and something else she couldn’t place. His hand reached around her to point at something on the screen and for half a second, his arm brushing against hers and she became acutely aware of the little space remaining between their bodies. Her pulse stuttered. Any explanation she had died in her throat, instead only a quiet, choked noise came out. She was effectively frozen, completely against her control. What the hell? or 5 + 1 trope for Kingdon Week: 5 times Mel felt Langdon from behind & dealt with the emotional fallout, +1 when she let herself go and enjoyed him.
