Fics like The Prince & his Boy

Louis, recently orphaned, fully destitute, suddenly finds himself in the court of Prince Harry, a figure he knows by reputation alone, and none of it good. ‘Saved’ from the streets and almost certain starvation, he is yet to determine what the ‘price’ is for his humble bed and three-square meals a day. He has a horrible suspicion, all the same… When he is introduced to ‘the ritual’, a daily affair, with a revolving cast of handsome young men, where Harry ‘takes his pick’, Louis is appalled and petrified in equal measure (with just a breath of morbid curiosity.) But as boys start to disappear, and Louis hears screams and moans ricocheting through the halls of the Palace in the night-time hours, he can’t help but worry, what the hell might soon be in store for him. What follows is a twisting tale encompassing a royal court, a handsome Prince and history at play. But this is no fairytale. It brings with it a dysfunctional family (unique in their cruelty), misadventure and sweeping pestilence, as the wheel of fortune turns its unpredictable relentless turn. This is definitely not a family show. This couldn’t be a love story. Or is it?...
