Fics like Trophy Wife

At first glance Wumuti appeared to have everything a woman could want, a wealthy respected older husband providing for her, a beautiful house and two healthy kids. She should be happy, right? Then why has she always felt this unexplainable void? Under manicured hands, perfectly blown out hair and polished red lipsticks laid dissatisfaction from leading such a boring life. That all changed when she met her neighbors’ daughter returning from college in the city to visit her parents in the small town they lived in. Rui felt like a breath of fresh air, youthful, bold, outspoken and so unapologetically free, not caring what anyone thinks of her. She was everything Wumuti never allowed herself to be. Admiration and envy grow into something far deeper and more dangerous as Rui shows Wumuti she can also live for herself, and be much more than a trophy wife. Or: “Good girl” Wumuti says innocently encouraging her and Rui flushes. ‘Why can’t older women be less ethical and give me a chance?’ She complains to her friends over text. ‘Stop thinking with your pussy’ Haru answers, that evil twink will pay.
