Caine was not built to be an entertainer. He's settled into the job very well, if he does say so himself, but he wasn't BUILT for it. (It's still insane to him that the devs at C&A never noticed anything strange about him.) He was built to cause harm. But! So long as he occasionally... uh... lets off steam on NPCs, his actual reward system lets him do as he pleases instead of redirecting him toward his original function. His humans never have to find out! He's handled it for years, it's totally fine! (Or: Caine is secretly a torture AI who has been meticulously hiding that fact until Bubble decides to ignore instructions at the worst possible time.)
