Fics like Stupid and Irresponsibly Yours

After their first time in Montreal, Ilya ghosts Shane for over a year, keeping himself at a distance long after Sochi. No reason, no discussion, just silence. But when an MLH Awards forces them to present together, Ilya can't ignore Shane any longer and Shane won't let him. Their heated reconciliation is interrupted after a knock on the penthouse door sends their night in a wildly different direction—one Ilya will never forget and Shane struggles to remember. The next morning, Shane wakes up hungover, alone, and startled by the ring on his finger. With no Ilya in sight, and all texts unread, the familiar ghosting leaves Shane feeling rejected and freaking out, retreating to his summer cottage. If only Shane knew Ilya was on a journey to protect them and would go to the ends of the earth (Canada) for… his husband.
