Fics like Say Yes to Heaven

Jimin has always tumbled down mental spirals as if some sinister version of himself takes great pleasure in shoving him over the precipice into the dark, churning depths below. He doesn’t know where the idea he deserves to hurt comes from, but it seems as innate as his love for the stage. Jimin closes his eyes and inhales long and slow while picturing the calmest and safest place he can imagine, just like Namjoon taught him twelve years ago. Strangely enough, the image he conjures is still the same as it was the first time he almost had an anxiety attack in a broadcast company bathroom stall right before they debuted. His mental sanctuary is another closely guarded secret he only takes out and examines in the darkest parts of the night when the world and the others aren’t around to discover it. ~or~ Post ot7 live on July 1, 2025, Jimin continues to struggle with his identity, especially post-military. He knows what (who) he needs, but won't allow himself to have it. Or will he? "I wanna keep you close enough But far enough away for me to handle At the end of the day there is no one to blame but me Guess I'm always gonna be my own worst enemy" "Self-Sabatoge" by Ruelle
