Fics like Brains? No Thanks, I Prefer Ben

Ten years after the outbreak, society survives in heavily fortified, bleak quarantine zones run by a militaristic faction (The First Order). Ben Solo is a high-ranking, enforcer captain who handles containment —a nice word for executing infected citizens and hunting down defectors. Rey is a scavenger from the Alderaanian sector, a safe haven built by kylos mother after being "exiled" by snoke after the infected took over. After an unfortunate capture trying to steal supplies, Rey learns she just might be able to end this disaster, and with the help of Kylo, and his squadron "the knights of Ren" they embark on a mission to bring her back to his mother.
