Fics like Free to Fall

Tom Hayward meets Mary Bennet without ever having a romantic understanding with Ann Baxter. While their early interactions will stay the same, no romantic ties with Ann Baxter mean there is nothing holding Tom back from pursuing Mary, other than his own insecurities. This story will explore what changes and what stays the same when Tom and Mary are able to grow their feelings for one another freely. How will their romantic feelings develop differently? How will Mary’s confidence in herself grow? And how will one William Ryder continue to make a nuisance of himself.
