Fics like La Mer

With the little strength he has left in his body, he raises his head up and spots the Nu Gundam, destroyed and set up like a monument in the ocean. The hand holding Char’s escape pod is still clutching, holding onto it with an iron grip that even in its death, never let go of. Amuro grinds his teeth- how could he be over here if… if the Nu Gundam… Slowly, as if he was looking for a predator in the wild, he glances beside him. Amuro was supposed to die in space with the Nu Gundam, with Axis, and with Char in his hand but instead, he wakes up on the beach with company.
