Fics like impetuous half-baked desires

Though, once the book is saved, they hole him up in his room this time instead of a cell—because they wanted to contemplate his situation or something. He wasn’t very sure. It was hard to pay attention over the metaphorical film stuck over his brain that made him feel spacey and unreal. Which leaves him with not much to do besides think because his room didn’t have much to do. It’s horrible, really. He’s not even sure what he’s thinking about or feeling at one point—his brain is just on auto-scroll. Akutagawa is in a dillemna over being a taint while locked in his room with nothing to do but think about it and harms himself because he's not really in a right state of mind and feels like he deserves it (in a way).
