Frank was here. At a speed dating event. Which meant that he’d spent his evening sitting across from a dozen other women, looking for the same thing she was - a relationship. The realization made her stomach sink. For months now, she’d been telling herself there was a reason Frank hadn’t made a move. Maybe he wasn’t ready after the divorce. Maybe he wasn’t even interested in dating at all - maybe he was too busy with work and the kids to even think about it. But he was here, which meant none of those things were true. Frank wanted a relationship - just not with her.
