Fics like Although in Remembrance

"Forget about me. Don't live on in memory of me. Live on as who you are." A boy with golden hair told him. The boy, who was as radiant as the sun, and the only family Wemmbu had ever known. The boy, who was Rejoice. Gravely injured in the war, Wemmbu must fend for himself in a peaceful point in time, when all he has ever known is bloodshed and war. He lays in wait for when Rejoice recovers. There will be a day that he does, he tells himself. And when that day does, perhaps Wemmbu's world could be a little brighter. Perhaps when that day comes, Wemmbu could live on in his own legacy, and not in remembrance of him. Or, Child Soldier!Wemmbu learns how to live through grief, and relearns how to live life after the devastating effects of war along with the other protags.
