Fics like She's The Softest Woman Ever (But She Has To Make Hard Decisions)

Grace is a perfectly rational man. Eva Stratt is perfectly rational, too. She does not feel a sickening lump in her throat over this. It’s not hard at all, because she knows that what she is doing is right. She told him—she just didn’t think she would be sending him off into space when she did. It shouldn’t change anything. If it did, then she’s no better than any other selfish coward. What would be the point of destroying herself to organize the mission? She could have stayed a Beta. What is her health, her life, against the entire world? What is Ryland Grace’s life? He smells anxious. He smells sweet. He’s not her Omega, and she is not his Alpha. — Or: Omegaverse AU. That one betrayal scene.
