Fics like I was always going to meet you there

“There, uh, was a girl after Ana. Her name was Marisol but…,” Eddie says, looking in Sophia’s general direction but not directly at her. “It didn’t work out. I fucked it up.” Not what she was expecting Eddie to say but, hey, she can work with that. “Hey, cheers to that,” Sophia says, clinking their wine glasses. “I’ve done my fair share of fucking up in relationships.” Eddie hums but doesn’t elaborate on the fuck-up. Which is fine. Sophia may be nosy but she’s not going to pry about something that Eddie clearly doesn’t want to talk about. “She was a nun,” Eddie says out of left field. Sophia nearly does a spit take. “A nun?!” Sophia shrieks. “No fucking way.” *** Sophia Diaz is in LA for work. She decides to surprise her brother with a visit. She wasn't expecting her brother to surprise her in return with what looks like a whole ass family.
