Fics like After The Leaves Fall

An exploration of Qifrey and Olruggio's relationship now that they are free to be in love. Snapshots of their private moments, some steamy, some emotional, as they discover who they are together. --- For now, however, the quiet world of their romance is still just theirs... It was so easy to slip from their friendship into this state of bliss, the shift was as natural as breathing. Qifrey shuts his grimoire and shifts to wrap both arms around Olly, kissing his head and taking a moment to breathe him in. He focuses on staying calm. Learning to take every moment of safety and relaxation in his stride, without embracing an undercurrent of panic or paranoia to offset it, has been a slow process. Detangling his fear and anxiety from feelings of security will be the work of the rest of his life. But who better to help him through than his partner in pain... --- This disjointed anthology accidentally became an extended months long character study, playing out in just the quiet and private moments shared by Olruggio and Qifrey. The story takes place after their relationship has already begun in secret and follows them through a period of getting to know each other better as lovers and partners.
