Fics like What If Shane Kept the Suit On and Made Ilya Fall Even Harder?

JULY 2010. In the original story, Shane Hollander loses his nerve at the last minute. He changes out of the suit, pulls on regular clothes, and waits for Ilya Rozanov to arrive at Room 1410. But what if he didn't? What if Shane stood in front of the mirror, looked at the suit, and decided to keep it on? What if, when the clock struck nine and Ilya knocked on the door, Shane opened it looking less like someone waiting for a hookup and more like someone preparing for the fanciest first date in Canadian history? Ilya expected many things when the door opened. A nervous Shane. An awkward Shane. Maybe even a panicking Shane. He did not expect Suit Shane. "Shane…" Ilya said slowly. "What?" "...Why do you look like you are about to ask for my hand in marriage, yes?" Shane immediately wanted the floor to swallow him whole. Unfortunately for him, Ilya thought it was the most adorable thing he had ever seen.
