Fics like The President's Son (The First One, Anyways)

John Sheppard - Colonel in the United States Air Force, four hundred and ninety three years old, slightly estranged from his father -who was a bit upset at his son going into the military of all things- and very, very dedicated to the city Atlantis. And apparently, -and trust me, he TRIED not to let it happen- VERY in love with a wraith. He can feel the way the humans stare at him. He thinks some of them even pity him. He pities humans, because they can only see the beauty in their own species.
