Fics like Accidentally Becoming Important at Work (Title to Change)

Title to Change because the joke doesn't make sense yet. Open to suggestions. Nikki Bobbins is a definitely normal human from this version of earth just doing a completely normal geological survey while her two younger teen siblings are using their sister's work as an excuse to vacation. Nikki, Marcus, and Millie are exploring a strange cave with beautiful giant blue crystals when they run into three kids who look surprised to find other people out touching grass. Then they run into a bunch of giant alien robots. Then more robots show up and there's a bunch of shooting. Someone must be a terrible shot because apparently the crystals are explosive. The last thing Nikki thinks before she blacks out from the pain of what feels like knives erupting from her skin is that this assignment was supposed to be boring. They weren't supposed to get involved. Involvement means disruptions. Disruptions in what is "meant to happen" are dangerous. Just a human to transformers story. Three original human characters get involved with the Autobot/Decepticon war. There's nothing weird going on. Promise. They wake up as Cybertronians. But besides that, nothing weird.
