Fics like What do you mean there's now a "Fairy" type?

"I just don't get it, why didn't Dragon Breath work on that Gardevoir?" "That's because she is immune to Dragon Type moves, Dear." "But aren't they Psychics? Last time I checked it should at least have hurt her a little!" "I mean, yes. But since they are also part Fairy, all Dragon attacks will be basically useless against them." "Now that's some bull... Ahh, y'know what? Nevermind. Just tell me what's up with the Ribbon Dog over there." "The Sylveon, you mean?" .... "I beg your finest pardon, the what?" Alternatively: An amnesiac pokémon fan finds himself in Kalos and tries not to develop an aneurysm in the process of re-discovering the world around him.
