Fics like Angel Did Not Fly

Seven months into their marriage, Ayato Aishi finds contentment in his new life, embracing his role as a wife and cherishing the love he's found. Yet, this tranquility is disrupted by the arrival of Daniel Reeves from America, armed with a distorted perception of Ayato's happiness. Reeves, who has meticulously crafted this misconception over years, refuses to alter his view, despite overwhelming evidence to the contrary. Meanwhile, Megamo Saikou has anticipated this conflict since receiving a letter seven months prior. This narrative explores the peril of unyielding certainty and the destructive power of delusion. It delves into themes of surveillance, misjudgment, and the unwavering resolve of someone who built a world and intends to protect it. Ayato grapples with an unfamiliar hatred, as external forces attempt to undermine the genuine warmth and love he experiences. The story underscores that the "map" of Ayato's life is fundamentally flawed; the angel, contrary to misguided beliefs, never sought to escape. This is a sequel to "The Golden Cage of A Happy Angel" and should be read after it.
