Fics like The Day Danville Got Rubber-Hosed

Phineas and Ferb build a “historically accurate sound-cartoon immersion engine” for a summer project. Unfortunately, one loose sprocket, one misaligned temporal crank, and one highly dramatic evil inkpot later, all of Danville is accidentally dropped into a 1920s black-and-white cartoon universe. Only Phineas, Ferb, and Candace seem to notice. Candace wants to bust them. Phineas wants to fix the laws of reality. Ferb is quietly becoming a one-man orchestra. Perry has to fight a sentient inkpot before it turns the entire tri-state area into a looping seven-minute short.
