After four long years away, Louis Tomlinson is very much ready to return to his favorite place in the world – a tiny town on the coast of Rhode Island that was the magical scene of his childhood. Every significant moment in his life happened in Wickford, and he can’t wait to introduce his college friends to the town and the people who once defined his summers. He could even have a second first kiss with his first crush (and maybe his first love). That, though, is neither here nor there. Harry Styles despises Wickford. Every day, he remains stuck between the losses of his past and the uncertainty of his future. The last thing he needs is to be reminded of what life used to be, and how quickly a beautiful thing can crumble. Oh, and he hates tourists. ____________ Two estranged friends, one blissfully ignorant and one left wary and haunted, must reconcile with the bitter nostalgia of their past, four lost years, and what could be their last chance at a future together. But what chance do they have, really, when the echoes of that ill-fated last summer chase them down every street corner, replacing the laughter that once filled their days?
