Fics like Sunrise on the Rotten

Th Earth is lost in everlasting heat. Solar flares and radiation storms reduce humans and animals' brains into mush and turn them into cannibalistic Flesh eaters. Only the most skilled, most fit, were meant to survive... Not a fucking 16-year-old kid who lives in a subway tunnel with his zombie turned best friend whom he has to kill for so that he can survive. But can Kyle even survive himself? OR; Apocalypse survivor Kyle and Zombie Stan fight for their life in a world that has been engulfed in heat and radioactive activity, can they survive the Sun-Rot or will they succumb to the rays of light that burn, blister, and blaze everything it touches [Might be a hard read first few chapters as I'm a new writer and still learning. I swear it'll get better as it goes on. Also, just a disclaimer that it will change from 3rd to 1st person at around chapter 5 for the rest of the story, thanks for reading!!]
