Fics like Shackle My Heart

Hiccup vowed he'd never buy a slave. But when he accidentally stops one from escaping an abusive master, Hiccup makes the split-decision to buy this foreign outsider – a mesmerizing youth with strange snowflake eyes and an inability to speak Norse. Meanwhile, Jack doesn't know how long he'll have to wait for the other Guardians to find him. Probably a while since Pitch not only turned Jack mortal and messed up his magic, but sent him BACK IN TIME. It's been a disaster thus far, but perhaps this new 'owner' will be the turning point. And if Hiccup and the other Vikings are unaware that Jack can understand and speak their language? Well... Jack deserves to have a little fun, right?
