Fics like Thicker than Water

Christ, Niall smelled like a fucking virgin. Really, he smelled like the dirt from the neighbor’s yard, and the hot metal of a burning wreck, and the same acrid chemical shit they used in the clink infirmary to patch up all the pansies who’d gotten what was coming to them. But beneath all that, beneath the stench of the world’s shit? He smelled like a fucking baby. Like 72 bleeding virgins awaiting him in Heaven, or whatever bullshit people promised themselves just to make it through the day. - Set immediately after the hospital scene, Ruben gets one whiff of Niall and just can't help himself.
