Fics like I'll be only what you've know of me

Eight years and six months ago, Ilya filed for divorce. Weeks later, his love story with Shane came to an end. Eight years ago, Shane vanished without a trace, without telling anyone. Six years ago, Ilya said goodbye to the ice and retired after a career worthy of a superstar. Four years ago, Shane sent a letter that would never be read. A year and six months ago, Ilya became the coach of the Ottawa Centaurs, marking a new chapter in his life. Eight months ago, Shane was photographed for the first time in years. Three weeks ago, S. Hollander officially appeared in an MHL document that no one reads. And two hours ago, Ilya’s world was turned upside down. Two hours ago, the Montreal Voyageurs posted a photo welcoming Shane as their new coach.
