Fics like New Beginnings & An Incomplete Plan

No one was excited when Troy Barrett got traded to Ottawa; Ilya included. He was a homophobic asshole who ran his mouth on the ice next to his best friend, now accused rapist, Dallas Kent. So, when Ilya went to check on him the morning of their Vancouver game, the last thing he expected to witness was Troy Barrett sobbing over his ex-boyfriend. Or, Ilya’s POV of my previous fic: though my heart can't take no more (I can't keep running back to you). Can be read as a stand-alone if you want but I encourage reading both povs for future fics! With additional scenes!! Such as: a brief meeting with Curtis Barrett, a rundown Calgary arcade, and a phone call with Shane!
