For five years, Lee Doyeon has stood beside Dr. Doh Kyungsoo as his scrub nurse at Doh Cosmetic Clinic. She was there before the fame, before the luxury, before the world started calling him a genius. While everyone else abandoned the struggling clinic, Doyeon stayed behind and carried it on her own shoulders—working as receptionist, assistant, nurse, and cleaner just to keep Kyungsoo’s dream alive. Now, Kyungsoo is one of Seoul’s most famous plastic surgeons: rich, respected, and untouchably perfect. Meanwhile, Doyeon remains invisible in the background, an ordinary woman surrounded daily by impossible beauty standards she could never compete with. To protect her fragile heart, she forces herself to keep a professional distance, even as every small habit of his slowly destroys her composure—the way he pulls down his surgical mask with tired eyes after long operations, the way his fingers brush against hers beneath the harsh operating lights. But when one dangerous moment crosses the line between doctor and nurse, Doyeon realizes she cannot survive loving him quietly anymore. She hands in her resignation, completely unaware that to Kyungsoo, she was never invisible at all.
