Fics like The Elixir of Life

Orin was abandoned by his pod over a hundred years ago, and now he waits in the shallows of the beach, watching humanity from the shadows. Late one night, Orin notices a man alone on the beach doing strange, slow movements in the moonlight. He can’t help but watch. And while he’s vowed never to speak to humans again, when the strange man collapses, Orin can’t help but come to his aid.
