“We need to talk, is all,” Seungmin says, his eyes suddenly intense as he looks at Minho. Best to feign innocence, which Minho only thinks he is good at doing. “What about?” he asks, fluttering his eyelashes as if to say What clicker? I haven’t been subconsciously training you to respond to a clicker I keep in my pocket at all. How silly. Seungmin sputters, as if Minho is being ridiculous, playing at innocence. And, yeah, he is, but it was worth a shot. He exhales heavily, the apology already on the tip of his tongue. “I’m sorry that I—” “About the fact that you’re in love with me,” Seungmin hisses. The world jerks to a stop. Standing there, pressing Seungmin against the kitchen counter by his hips and looking into his eyes, he wonders what had given him that impression. Minho was using Seungmin to his own ends, and sacrificing quite a lot to do so. Making every attempt to see Seungmin and spend time with him, being weirdly complimentary when necessary, even offering to do inane chores— Oh. Wherein Minho needs a subject for a school project, and Seungmin is the closest thing to a dog Minho can find.
