Fics like where you don’t even miss the ocean

Harry Potter is a lonely orphan in a small fishing village. Tom Riddle is a selkie—a sealfolk, able to take human form only one night every seven years. Four encounters, two decades, and a love that only grows stronger with distance and yearning. Written for the Purge and Purge XL prompts “yearning” and “fairytale retelling”, respectively.
