"Do you mind keeping this secret between us?" She lifted her head to look at him. Two blue crystals, clearer than the water in the Arctic Ocean. They consumed him instantly. Katara could have made her words sound like a threat - as she did every time she spoke to him. But it wasn't the tone nor the volume that gave it away. It was that one word that made the difference. Us. There was no ‚us’ between her and Zuko. There never had been. To hear her say that they were part of something together … why did that thought make his stomach feel so strange? "No, I don't mind," he replied simply. He sounded unimpressed, but it was raging in his head. Change was in the air, as heavy and thick as the steam from a hot spring. He couldn't see it with his eyes, but he could feel it. -- Zuko finally joined Team Avatar at the Southern Air Temple and has yet anything but arrived. Most of the group members still don’t trust him. Especially one particular waterbender that watches his every move. One day, Zuko discovers a secret hot spring inside the tempels. It becomes his sanctuary – a place just to himself. Or so he thought. *STORY COMPLETED*
