Buck woke up slowly, like surfacing from something warm and heavy. For a few seconds he didn’t move, just blinked against the dim glow of the TV and the quiet weight across his shoulders. It took him a moment to register where he was– curled sideways on the couch, his head resting against Eddie’s lap, Eddie’s arm still loosely wrapped around him like he’d fallen asleep holding him there and never let go. OR When Maddie suggests the idea of Eddie being in love with Buck, Eddie can’t stop thinking about it. Buck and Eddie spend a week pretending they’re just friends while quietly falling in love with each other, until one night they finally stop pretending.
