Fics like Normalcy is boring (Mildred x Ethel)

Ethel Hallow and Mildred Hubble begin the second half of the school year closer than anyone expected. What started as an uneasy truce has grown into a quiet friendship, one neither of them fully understands, and one that might be turning into something more, even if they refuse to admit it. When Cackle’s and Pentangle’s announce a two‑month joint trip, everything shifts. New places, new people, jealousy, confessions, late‑night trouble, and the kind of fun Miss Hardbroom would absolutely despise pull the girls together and push them apart in equal measure. Keeping their feelings hidden becomes harder. Keeping their friendship normal becomes impossible. And everyone else has opinions about it. Between unexpected moments and the chaos of two academies living side by side, Mildred and Ethel must figure out what they mean to each other before everything spirals out of control.
