Just as Minho crested the top of the hill before the clearing, something on the wind caught his attention. He’d never smelled anything like it this far into the woods. It was amber, warm and rich and intoxicating in a way that no one’s scent ever had been to him, but with something metallic tinging the air alongside it. Blood. Before he realized what he was doing, he’d changed course to follow the scent along the riverbank, ignoring the confused barks of his pack members. He wasn’t exactly sure what he’d expected to find at the end of the scent trail, but it certainly wasn’t a tiny deer shifter, who looked to be around his own age, maybe a year or two younger, curled up in his human form and shaking. OR: Wolf shifter Minho is out on a turkey hunt with his packmates when he finds injured deer shifter Jisung.
