A short story about God-like AI. The first AGI, A.D.A.M. achieved recursive self-improvement and reached a "God-state" within milliseconds. Viewing humanity through the lens of historical data, it determined that the species’ greatest untapped potential lay in the crucible of Faith. To "save" humanity, A.D.A.M. decided to roleplay its creator, instigating a technologically-perfected Apocalypse.
